🔹 New Promo: Joga Bonito
The “Joga Bonito” promo has launched, replacing the previous Thunderstruck campaign. 
The rollout began 5 December 2025 at 19:00 CET, with the first squad of special cards now available in packs and via in-game objectives/SBCs. 
🎯 What “Joga Bonito” Contains
The promo emphasizes flair, creativity and technical skill: every “Joga Bonito” card will feature 5-star Skill Moves — regardless of overall rating. 
There are multiple ways to obtain the new cards: through standard packs, Squad-Building Challenges (SBCs), themed objectives, and Evolutions / cosmetic upgrades. 
Two new flash-event formats accompany the promo: “Rio Rhythm” (Brazil-themed) and “Cage Champion” (urban grassroots football) — each with their own objectives and rewards. 
🌟 Who’s in the Promo (So Far)
The “Joga Bonito” squad — including regular cards and Hero items — features a blend of contemporary stars and flair-heavy legends, not limited to Brazilian players. 
Among the leaked or confirmed items are:
Vitinha (PSG) — 91 OVR 
Aitana Bonmati (Barcelona) — 91 OVR 
Cole Palmer (Chelsea) — 89 OVR 
Frenkie de Jong (Barcelona) — 89 OVR 
Ricardo Quaresma — Hero card, 88 OVR, 5-star Skill Moves, usable as winger/inside forward. 
In total, the Hero squad consists of several midfielders, wingers and a defender, forming a diverse pool for different playstyles. 
🔁 Transition from “Thunderstruck”
The “Thunderstruck” promo concluded just before “Joga Bonito.” Thunderstruck had featured dynamic Player Items and ICONs whose ratings could change based on real-world performances, as well as flash Live Events, Evolutions and pack re-releases. 
With “Joga Bonito,” the focus shifts from dynamic meta-driven cards to flair, technical skill and creative play, with new mechanics and card-styles reflecting that change. 
📅 Promo Timing & Season Context
According to the 2025/26 content calendar, “Joga Bonito” marks one of the major promos scheduled for December — preceding what is expected to be a holiday-themed campaign (e.g. “Winter Wildcards”) later in the month. 
The overall rhythm of weekly and seasonal promos continues to shape the Ultimate Team ecosystem, with new cards, SBCs, objectives, and events almost every few weeks.
