Atari announced last week that it will bring lots of its gems from the past 20 years back to life again with the help of Ubisoft. These games include Tetsuya Mizuguchi's Child of Eden and the popular survival game I Am Alive. The CEO of Atari was asked about his dream of remastering his old project. Wade Rosen said Hideo Kojima's detective adventure is one of those games that he likes to see remastered coming to life. He also mentioned the Square tactical game Ogre Battle and the Sega role-playing classic Panzer Dragoon Saga.
He said that he likes to see the comeback of these games, but still, a company will not survive if it gets to make the games that ceo wants. He says not only do sales matter, but also the passion that the team behind the game has also matters. That's why they may not be able to create and continue all of these games together.
We can expect more and more of these legendary classics in the future, made by Atari in collaboration with other developers!
